Favoritos: marzo-abril / March-April favourites

Se acaba abril y con él llega una nueva serie de posts en el blog: mis favoritos. No se trata de un post únicamente de moda (aunque también habrá ropa y complementos) sino que incluyo algunas otras categorías que creo que os pueden ser de utilidad u os pueden interesar, al menos eso espero ;)

April is ending and I will seize the moment to start a new post series: my favourites. It will be not only about fashion (although there will be clothes and accesories too) but about other things that I thought you could be interested in or could be useful for you, at least I hope so ;)

La verdad es que no soy una experta en maquillaje ni soy muy dada a darme cremas o mascarillas (soy un poco vaga para esas cosas) pero sí que soy un poco maniática con la limpieza de mi rostro. Hasta hace poco he tenido problemillas de acné así que empecé a utilizar productos que fueran suaves con mi piel y que me pudiesen ayudar de alguna forma.

I'm not a make up expert and I'm quite lazy to use creams, face masks and so on but I'm a little bit maniac with my face cleansing. I had some acne problems a few years ago so I started using products specially indicated to my skin to help me face this problem.

Si bien os digo que ninguno ha acabado con este problema (he tenido que recurrir a la píldora anticonceptiva) sí que he llegado a conocer productos y marcas que me han gustado mucho. Entre ellas, La Roche Posay. Ahora mismo estoy utilizando el gel limpiador purificante y noto la piel muy limpia sin que llegue a resecarme.

Although no product has eradicated the spots (I have to start using the contraceptive pill) I actually find good products that I continue using, one of this brands is La Roche Posay. I'm using now this cleansing gel that I really like.

Otro de mis favoritos es un labial, concretamente uno que compré en Marrakech de color verde pero que pinta en un tono rosado (es de lo más típico) . No me reseca nada los labios y dura un montón. Yo me pongo muy poquito producto para dar simplemente un toque de color. Creo que los podéis encontrar en Amazon y otras tiendas online (aunque no sé cómo saldrán, yo lo compré en el viaje).

Other beauty favourite is a lipstick that I bought in Marrakech in my last trip. It's a typical product send there in every shop, a green lipstick with a pink colour when you put it on your skin. I use a little bit product in my lips just to give them a touch of colour. I think you could buy them in amazon or others online shops (although I don't know if they're actually the same, as I said, I bought them in Morocco).

Veo imprescindible hablaros de un producto que no es solo mi favorito de ahora sino de hace tiempo, el Uniq One. Me encanta cómo huele y me deja el pelo muy suave, además protege del calor de las planchas, secadores, etc. y ayuda a mantener a raya el encrespamiento. En ese sentido no es milagroso, pero me gusta cómo me deja el pelo.

I have to tell you about this product that is not my currently favourite but my favourite for a long time, Uniq One. I really love how it smells, it leaves my hair soft, protects it from the heat of hair irons, dryers, etc. and helps to control frizzy hair. It's not magic in this sense but I like how my hair looks when I use it.

Esta primavera me ha dado por el amarillo así que mi favorito tenía que ser algo de este color, en concreto este jersey-cárdigan de Pull&Bear que está genial de precio y que me he puesto ya unas cuantas veces a pesar de que el tiempo no ha acompañado.

This spring I have a little obsession with yellow so my favourite should be something in this colour, this cardigan-sweater from Pull&Bear specifically. It's well priced and I have wore it so many times despite the weather was not so good.

Pensé que no les iba a dar tanto uso pero al final les he sacado un montón de partido, las gafas cat-eye de Lefties se han convertido casi en un imprescindible en mis looks aunque he de deciros que sé que no deben ser buenas para los ojos (cuestan 3,5 euros) así que las uso simplemente para postureo en las fotos, pero me parecen que le dan un toque muy especial a los outfits ;)

I thought I wouldn't use them so much but finally I wear them a lot, the cat-eye sunglasses from Lefties have became almost essential in my looks, although I know they couldn't be good for the eyes (they costs 3.5 euros) so I use them just for pictures. Anyway, I think that they give a very special touch to my outfits ;)

La verdad es que en estos dos meses no he visto ninguna serie que me robara el corazón así que os voy a recomendar una serie que estrena temporada a final de mes y que estoy deseando ver: El Cuento de la Criada.

On this last  two months I didn't see any series that I actually love so I would recommend you one that launch new season in April and that I'm looking forward to see: The Handmaid's Tale.

La primera me pareció espectacular (me gustó bastante más que el libro, y eso es raro). Es una distopía que te deja una sensación desagradable de alguna forma pero que también te ayuda a darte cuenta de cómo funcionan las sociedades y las personas o cómo somos capaces de reaccionar ante ciertos problemas. En ese sentido parece que algo de ese estilo podría ocurrir en algún momento, no de ve como algo lejano.

The first one was amazing (I actually like it more than the book, an that's odd). It's a dystopia that helps you to realize lot of things that are happening nowadays, giving you an unpleasant feeling because we are not so far from this things to happen, or maybe something similar. It shows you how societies and people react before some problems.

Recomendadísima.
I really recommend you this series.

En esta categoría tengo dos favoritos: una novela y un libro de prosa poética. La novela es "El silencio de la ciudad blanca" de Eva García Sáenz de Urturi, una historia de intriga que se desarrolla en Vitoria. Aunque el desenlace no me resultó sorprendente, me parece que está muy bien escrito, te atrapa desde el principio y está muy bien ambientada. Me encantan las personas capaces de transmitir amor por un sitio o una cosa de esa manera, desde el principio dan ganas de ir a conocer Vitoria.

In this category I have two favourites: a novel and a poetic prose book. The first one in "The white city silence" from Eva García Sáenz de Urturi. It's a thriller based on Vitoria. Although the ending was not surprising, it's well written and catch you from the beggining, it's so well set. I love people who can transmit love for a place or anything in that way, you feel like knowing the city all the time. 

El segundo se titula "La primavera helada", es un libro escrito por Tamara Egea y Mario Rodríguez. Aunque he de reconocer que no lo he terminado (me falta sólo la tercera parte de las tres de las que está compuesto el libro) me está pareciendo brillante e íntimo, simplemente perfecto. Me gusta mucho como escriben, siempre oscilando entre la reivindicación y el terreno personal. Es el primer libro de prosa poética que leo y ahora me apetece leer más.

The second one is "The frozen spring", it's a book written by Tamara Egea and Mario Rodríguez. Although I haven't finished it yet (I lack the third part from three) it seems to me so brilliant, intimate and perfect. I really love how they write, always swinging between claims and personal feelings. It's the first poetic prose book that I read and I feel now like reading more.

Esto os va a sonar muy friki pero mi favorita de estos meses una canción en chino que cantaron en el festival de año nuevo y me parece preciosa. Sé que la música es un poco cursi pero yo a veces soy así de empalagosa.

This could sound a bit freak but my favourite from this months is a Chinese song that was sung in their New Year's Eve festival and I think it's so beautiful. It could be a little bit cheesy but I'm quite cloying sometimes.

Por último, os confieso que estoy empezando a adentrarme en el mundo de los stories de Instagram, y en esta incursión he descubierto la app Unfold que tiene varias plantillas con marcos blancos y fuentes ideales. Me gusta subir cosas bonitas o trabajadas de alguna forma (aunque a veces tiro de la típica foto con las opciones y gifs que ofrece el propio Instagram) y en ese sentido me parece que esta aplicación ayuda mucho.

Finally, I have to confess that I'm starting using stories on Instagram and in this beginning I discovered Unfold. It's an app with some white frames and beautiful lettering. I like to post nice things, worked in some way (although I do upload the typical pictures with the options and gifs that Instagram offers) and in this sense I think the app helps me a lot. 

De todas formas me gustaría conocer más apps de este estilo así que estoy abierta a sugerencias ;)

Anyway, I would like to know similar apps so I'm opened to suggestions ;)
